Petzone

Petzone (founded in 2010) is a Kuwait-based pet care retail. It became one of the largest pet shop chains in the GCC providing premium pet care. Petzone has expanded the number of its retail locations over the years with over 50 stores across the Gulf region.

History

Petzone was founded in 2010 by Fawaz Elenzi and Mohamed Alduaj as a moderately-sized pet shop in Kuwait. Its reputation has grown over the years becoming a major supplier and distributor for international pet brands in addition to offering pet grooming services in stores. Petzone has expanded its chain and e-commerce reach with over 50 locations across Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain providing pet food, supplies, and essential care products for dogs, cats, small animals, birds, fish, reptiles, horses, and farm animals.

Awards

In 2021, Petzone was awarded the Gold Award for "International Retailer, Wholesaler, or Distributor of the Year" at PetQuip Awards. In 2022, RetailME Awards presented the "Most Admired Store Designs of the Year" to Petzone. In 2022, Petzone was awarded "Direct Retailer of the Year" by the Retail Asia Awards 2022. In March 2023; Petzone was awarded the “Most Admired eCommerce Company of the Year” award at the ImagesME eCommerce Awards 2023.
