A heads up

You ported the wikipedia version of Islam, without honoring the IP rights of the Wikipedia contributors.

Don't do that. I replaced it with a stub.

You can, if you want, carefully expand that stub. You can re-use the references from the revision you ported. References don't qualify for copyright, so re-using them is not a copyright violation.

Reusing the text originally written for the Wikipedia, without crediting the original authors, is a copyright violation.

So, that careful expansion would start with you picking out the most important references, and then writing some new paragraphs, in your own words, for the key things this new article should say about Islam.

The process would be the same if you wanted to port any other Wikipedia article - unless you take care of honoring the original contributors.

For short articles that isn't that difficult. But for long Wikipedia articles, with hundreds of contributors, over many years, it might be easier to expand this stub. Geo Swan (talk) 07:24, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
