I am one of the volunteer administrators here. I try to look at every page that gets blanked, in case it was blanked by a vandal. I block vandals who do that. But you started the Amanda Lau article, so, of course, it was not vandalism for you to blank it.
I looked at the last version before you blanked it Ms Lau sounds like an interesting talented person, and this was a fine article.
If you want it permanently deleted, the best way to do that is to put a {{db-requested}} tag on it. I check for those tags approximately once a week. And, so long as they were placed by the person who started the page, I delete them.
My best wishes to you. And, if you know Ms Lau personally, my best wished to her too.
