Unmesh Srivastava
Unmesh Srivastava born on January 20, 1987, in India, is an accomplished innovator and seasoned technology executive[1] boasting a distinguished career spanning over two decades within the US healthcare industry.
Notably, from 2016 to 2018, he served as the Director of Innovation and Transformation at UnitedHealth Group and Optum Care, where he exhibited astute leadership and spearheaded transformative initiatives.
In January 2019, Unmesh stepped into the role of Chief Technology Officer at P3 Health Partners, Where he managed critical aspects of the organization, including enterprise infrastructure, IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance. His oversight played a crucial role in supporting product development, integration, and effective handling.[2][3][4]
In February 2022, Srivastava assumed the pivotal role of Chief Digital Officer and concurrently became a Board Member at Clever Care Health Plan, underscoring his commitment to driving digital transformation and strategic leadership in the US healthcare sector.[5]

Early life
Unmesh Srivastava, born and brought up in Delhi, India, began his educational journey at Bhatnagar International School in Vasant Kunj and did his engineering graduation from Rajasthan University. He came from a humble family who were very much involved in Social Services, especially in Healthcare and Girls' Education.[6][7][8]
Unmesh also wanted to contribute to the healthcare field with the help of technology. His passion for technology and healthcare led him to pursue Higher studies in the United States, and he opted for a Master of Science from California State University - Northridge.
Education
Unmesh earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Rajasthan, laying the foundation for his technical expertise. He then pursued a master's degree at California State University, Northridge, enhancing his understanding of business dynamics and technological innovation.[9][10]
In addition to his formal education, Unmesh holds various executive certificates, highlighting his dedication to staying abreast of industry trends. Notable among these are certificates in Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Investments from Harvard Business School, showcasing his strategic business acumen. He also explored the transformative impact of AI on business strategy through a program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Unmesh Srivastava, a distinguished technology executive with a background in the healthcare industry,[11][12] currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Digital Innovation Officer at Clever Care Health Plan.[13][14][15] Beyond his operational roles, Srivastava is an active venture investor at Nurture Ventures[16] and holds the position of Senior Technology Advisor at Norwest Venture Partners and Varsity Healthcare Partners.[17]
Previously, as the Chief Technology Officer at P3 Health Partners, Unmesh oversaw enterprise infrastructure, IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance efforts, which were pivotal in product development, integration, data, and analytics. Notably, his innovative mindset led to establishing of a managed care technology and services Innovation accelerator, focusing on enhancing patient and provider experiences.[18]
Before joining P3 Health Partners, Unmesh served as the AVP of Innovation and Business Transformation at Optum Care California. In this role, he spearheaded the implementation of new operating models, supported portfolio management processes, and drove next-generation innovation and product development efforts.
