Fictional biography
Tombstone lives to fight. This evil warrior cares about only one thing: destroying good rocks! The last thing Tombstone wants to hear about is peace. A good battle will make his day as he rushes heedlessly at the enemy swinging The Reaper wildly and laughing at his foes as they retreat from the twirling scythe.
Animated series
Tombstone first appeared in the 1986 film GoBots: Battle of the Rock Lords as one of Magmar's minions on the planet Quartex.
Books
The 1986 Rock Lords Coloring Book by Golden, a division of Western Publishing, revealed Tombstone can spin at high speeds.[1]

In the story Cultural Appropriation by Fun Publications it was revealed that Rock Lords Saberstone, Slimestone, Stone Hook and Tombstone teamed with the GoBots Dozer, Good Knight, Hans-Cuff and Royal-T to explore 59th Level when the Cataclysm threatened to destroy the GoBots home universe.
Echoverse
Tombstone was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots, Rock Lords and Starriors swapping places with characters during the events of that film.[2]
Rhetoricverse
Tombstone appeared the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode 65 story "Combiner Wars Part 2".[3]
Telepictures Publications
Tombstone was among Magmar's forces in "Update From Quartex" by Telepictures Publications in Winter 1987. In the story Magmar's forces attempt to force Boulder's troops into a lava river, but they are saved when Nuggit charges in with several Rockasaurs to help.[4]
Tonka
Tombstone appeared in the 1986 Tonka pack-in comic story "Powerful Living Rocks Face a Deadly New Peril".[5]
