Early Life

Peterson was born on September 26, 1998 in Spearfish, South Dakota and moved to Angelica, New York as a child. He is the eldest of two children born into a family of mixed European descent.

Education

Peterson started playing guitar at age 8 and lived in New York until age 10 when he relocated to Saint Peter, Minnesota. He was taught to play guitar and drums by his father. He formed several bands throughout his school years and wrote his first song when he was 11 years old. Peterson graduated from Saint Peter High School in 2016. He professionally recorded and released his first song at 19 years old.

Career

Peterson released his debut single in 2018. In September 2019, Peterson broke the world record for longest street performance with a 26 hour performance in Mankato, Minnesota. He has opened up for the band The 4onthefloor and has been on the Gary Vaynerchuk show.

In October 2021, Peterson had his song “Sanity” go up into space on a flash drive carried by Chris Boshuizen during Blue Origin’s second sub-orbital human spaceflight, Blue Origin NS-18. Additionally, he has collaborated with Carl Hart’s son, rapper Damon Xavier.

His music has been described as folk, indie, and alternative. He is regarded as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He remains to this day an independent artist.
