Robert Beauregard was charged with the murder of Leanne Freeman in Toronto in December 2012.[1][2][3]

During the trial jurors heard that Beauregard and his accomplice Jonathon Ash, like Freeman, were users of crystal meth.[4] They were convicted of second degree murder on January 17, 2016. According to the CBC News they showed no emotion when they received life sentences, on June 3, 2016.[5] They will be eligible for parol in 2019.
