Early Life

Chris "Po" Porter[1] was born and raised in Columbus, Mississippi. In high school, Chris was a member of the student council, school yearbook, school newspaper, and football team. Chris was the leader of the local rap group named Kounty Killas - featuring members Clucka, E-Luv, Kool Kutta, and more.

Education

Po was exposed to many unique leadership positions throughout his life from President of his local YMCA Teen Leaders Club to enlisting in the United State Marine Corps after High School, he looks to lead PoPolitickin.com into the forefront of the Internet. As for his educational background, Chris received his bachelor's in Business Management, Masters in Psychology, and a Master's in Business Administration. Since 2008, Chris has been working hard on his hip-hop/psychology brand. Developed into a conscious brand that aligns with helping artists, and philanthropy, and offers exposure through a strong online presence, Po Politickin’ is a hybrid between self-help, personal development, and hip hop.

Career

Founded in 2008, by Chris[2], Po Politickin is a “hip hop meets psychology brand,” designed to give talented artists more exposure. Po Politickin accomplishes this through a global presence, which includes an online radio show, blog, and an online mixtape series. Focused on helping artists, no profits, authors, and others reach the masses, it’s a home for everything worth being discussed. “Po Politickin is deeper than music”, says Porter. “We view Po Politickin as a hip hop motivational brand. Our goal is for Po Politickin to help further the hip-hop culture and educate our radio show’s listeners with content that is both entertaining and valuable. In every show, I attempt to leave at least one piece of knowledge that the listener could digest and use in their daily lives.” Past guests of the shows include Luenell, Meg the Stallion[3], Da Baby[4], Yo Gotti, Curren$y, MC Lyte, BG, Dead Prez, Outlawz, Rasheeda, Fredro Starr, Suga-T, J. Prince[5], Austin Trout, Mitchy Slick, La Chat, and more. The "Po Politickin Brand", which features "Just 2 Black Brothers" and the Wrestling_HipHop podcast which has already interviewed over one thousand guests across the world of professional wrestling[6].
