Naseef Rahman
Naseef Rahman (born 6 October 1995) is a Bangladeshi fitness athlete and first male pageant competitor from Bangladesh. Naseef is the first Bangladeshi to compete in an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) event and won a podium finish in his first international appearance in Sweden (April, 2018) which was a Bronze Medal. He is also the first Bangladeshi male pageant competitor having to compete against 50 other nationalities starting at first in “Mister Universal Ambassador 2016” in Bali, Indonesia winning a special award of being the “Most Influential Youth in Social Media” later at “Mister Global 2017” in Thailand by sheer victory in the national pageant competition of “Super Model Bangladesh”. Naseef also won the North European Men’s Physique Champion Title in December 2019 in Stockholm where all the North European countries competed including Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway. He also took the title for National Men’s Physique Champion in 2020 of Bangladesh held under Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation.
Early Life
Naseef was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh where he was involved in multiple sports through his childhood, playing cricket, football, table tennis and boxing until University. He started weight lifting at the age of 14 right after completing his first GCE Ordinary Level (O Level) exams. He first attended a professional Bodybuilding competition in 2013 being 17 years old at Victory Day Bodybuilding Competition and place 3rd in his very first competition. This encouraged him to further prosper in the fitness industry. Being good looking, fit and tall for average Bangladeshi, Naseef was also interested in Modeling and his charisma allowed him to do so easily. He won several titles in his undergraduate life at American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB) including 2X Mr AIUB (Undisputed Bodybuilding Champion on Campus), 2nd Runners up in Public Speaking Competition and represented his University at the “HSBC IBA Business Case” competition. He graduated from AIUB with a CGPA of 3.8 and was completed throughout with a scholarship of 65% waiver.
Education
Mastermind School: is a British-curriculum school in Bangladesh established in 1997. It offers English-medium education to students from Play Group age to grade 12, leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (under Edexcel) or GCE Ordinary Level (under Cambridge) and General Certificate of Education A-Level examinations, held under the Edexcel and Cambridge examination board. It follows the British Curriculum leading to IGCSE, GCE ‘A’ Levels and International Advanced Level. The school is accredited by the Government of Bangladesh, Edexcel and CIE, UK. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): American International University-Bangladesh, commonly known by its acronym AIUB, is an accredited private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university is an independent organization with own Board of Trustees. It offers several degree programs at graduate and undergraduate level from four faculties, particularly in the field of engineering and business studies. Master Program in Tourism Destination Development: Dalarna University College (Swedish: Högskolan Dalarna) is a public university (högskola) located in Falun and Borlänge, in Dalarna County, Sweden. Dalarna University is one of Sweden’s more recent institutions of higher education, established in 1977. It is situated in Dalarna, 200 kilometres north-west of the capital Stockholm. Master Program in Business Administration: University of Gävle (Swedish: Högskolan i Gävle) is a university college (högskola) located in Gävle, Sweden. It uses the name "University of Gävle" in English, although it is officially a 'University College'. The university was established in 1977 and is currently organized into three academies and nine departments.
