Mutant (Transformers)

In Transformers, Mutants were a small sub-group of Maximals and Predacons who had two beast forms, but no robot form. They were originally Fuzors who were experimented on by Megatron.

It is believed that the toy designs used for the Mutants were originally meant to be used in the Transformers: Animorphs toy line.

Members include:

• Icebird (Leader - owl/bear)
• Poison Bite (Special Operations - baracuda/scorpion)
• Razor Claw (Warrior - dinosaur/wolverine)
• Soundwave (bat/alligator)

An unreleased redeco of Soundwave was made in prototype called Leatherneck. It was part of the Transformers: Universe line, but the toy can canceled with only a few prototypes made.
