Franki Love
Franki Love is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. The music video for her song Shadow, directed by Bryan William Robins, was nominated for Best Music Video at the Hollywood Film Festival.[1][citation needed]
Career
Franki Love started her career by performing at local coffee shops in Los Angeles and captured the attention of many notable producers and musicians.[2] She was awarded Best Female Singer/Songwriter and Best Single for her song Shadow at the Los Angeles Music Awards.[3]
Love is the vocalist for the song I Look Up At The Sky Because You Are There from Sony's Wild Arms developed by Media.Vision.[4]
Love is on the compilation album Love Has Begun with singer Rita.[5] She has performed at the Castle of Chambord and Cannes Film Festival. She was featured in a world music TV special for PBS TV USA called Divinas along with Irish singer Méav Ní Mhaolchatha and singer Rita.[6]
As a performer, Love has appeared at New York City venues including The Living Room, Rockwood Music Hall and The Bitter End.[7]
Her song Love Like It's Never Gonna Hurt was chosen as best song by Songwriter Universe.[8] In 2015, Love released her album Otias independently by doing a crowdfunding fundraiser on Kickstarter.[9] Three songs from her album were produced by Grammy Award Winning producer David Kershenbaum.[10] In 2020, Love wrote and produced new age music albums called The Sun, "The Moon" and "The Sky" on her record label Love Is The Truth Music.[11] [12]
