Martel Conya Porter (born January 16, 1989), known professionally as Rich Porter (also known as Exit 5B), is an American rapper. Between 2012 and 2017 he released two independent albums and 8 singles 5 by himself and 3 featuring, Microwave Man, Payroll Giovanni, and AllStar jr. The song StreetCred Rich- I ain’t Breakin Down Sht became the lead single for his debut studio album The H 2.[1]

Early life
Exit 5B was born on January 16, 1989, in Louisville, KY. Porter was raised by his biological mother and started doing music at 13 years of age, he would freestyle, and write raps.

Early journey
He later moved in with his girlfriend and began to start sitting on the couch at night writing for his rap battles, and then later proceeded to start investing in studio time which led to his debut project The H 2. His first cd The H released in 2016 with DJ MLK, in the mist of his release he also had a meeting with DJ MLK and T.I., and did an interview with DJ SCREAM.[3]

Porter didn’t have any handouts from anyone he started from the bottom, and surrounded himself around like minded individuals, but also utilized his 24hrs wisely and invested in himself as he decided to incorporate the music industry into his Career path. Porter first began producing music utilizing a pen and paper, and that led to being a part of numerous rap battles with Dope16 when he was 23. He released his first album, The H in 2016. Porter attracted attention with his The H 2 album in 2017.
