Catheon Gaming is one of the largest integrated blockchain gaming and entertainment companies globally. The company partners with leading game developers and IP-holders to incubate and launch blockchain games. History

Catheon Gaming started September 2021 in Sydney, Australia by William Wu. The company’s initial project SolChicks broke the IDO world record with over 30 launchpad participants and over 300 investors.[1] The project also caused the Solana network to crash[2] during their token launch period in December 2021.

In December 2021, the company expanded its portfolio by partnering with Korean artist agency, HUMAP, on K-pop “Sing-to-earn” game, Seoul Stars.[3]

The company also announced partnership on various projects including Voyage in Paradise, Aotuverse[4][5] and Onigiri in 2022.

Team

Catheon Gaming has a total employees of over 240 people across 37 different countries. The company’s senior management includes William Wu (Co-CEO)), Mark Aubrey (Co-CEO) effective July 2022, Lewis Grafton (COO) and Jun Lee (Game Development Lead). [6]

The company’s board of advisors comprised gaming and entertainment industry veterans from Activision Blizzard, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Viacom, King Digital and Louis Vuitton.[7]

Mark was previously Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific for Activision Blizzard, Responsible for managing all verticals of the Activision Publishing and Blizzard Entertainment businesses across the Asia-Pacific region. Managed a regional team of over 300 employees across four offices currently generating over $450M in annual revenue. Full P&L responsibility with oversight of the combined physical and digital operations across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, South-East Asia, and India.
