Early life and education

Goldstein was born in Denver, Colorado, and later moved to the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where she attended middle and high school. She holds a bachelor's degree from Dickinson College and a master's degree from the University of Chicago. During college, Goldstein served as a firefighter, and during graduate school, she was part of the Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary to the United States Air Force. After graduation, Goldstein worked with a start-up organization in Calcutta, India.[6]

Career

Entrepreneur

Goldstein founded Publicly Related in 2016, a public relations firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida.[7] The agency is based on transparency where clients have access to all of their information in an online system. In addition to their regular update emails, the client could see who the firm pitched, the journalists’ contact information, the pitch topic, and the emails and tweets. This transparency sets Publicly Related apart from other PR agencies.[8]

In 2015, Goldstein created The Goldstein Business Accelerator program with her husband, Joel Goldstein. It provides startups with the resources and connections and access to $100,000 in seed funding, mentorship from a seasoned pool of knowledgeable experts and introductions to angel investors and venture capitalist firms. Five companies are accepted per six-month class.[9]

In 2014, Goldstein founded UpDog, an app that enables users to use videos to share their experiences on social media, communicate with businesses, and watch others’ reviews before spending time or money with a company. The idea came as a result of Goldstein’s business discussions with millennials and watching the rising consumption of mobile video.[10][11]

In 2010, Goldstein established the Jewish Chamber of Commerce with her husband.[12]

She is a Media Relations Director at Mr. Checkout Distributors[13] and an Assistant Guide at Fitpacking.[14]
