Azumanche participates in PANAMAX 2011.

Azumanche is a small patrol vessel operated by Guatemala.[1]

She was built in 1971, by Halter Marine, of New Orleans.[1] She underwent a refit, in 1993.

She is smaller than, and slower than, the US Coast Guard's Maritime Protector class of cutters, but more heavily armed. The USCG vessels usually only mount a pair of Browning machine guns, while the Azumanche mounts those and a pair of 20mm autocannons.
