Citizen Stack is a fictional character and third party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Ultra Magnus created by Keith's Fantasy Club in 2014 as part of their E.A.V.I. Metal sub-line.

Keith's Fantasy Club

Citizen Stack is a third party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Ultra Magnus created by Keith's Fantasy Club. He turns from robot to semi-truck car carrier.

Other third party Transformer homages to Ultra Magnus include FansProject's City Commander, iGear's Ultra Leader, Junkion Blacksmith's Earth Commander and TFC Toys Ultra.

Development

Citizen Stack was designed by David Harland, and scaled to be about the same size semi-truck as Masterpiece MP10 Optimus Prime.

The first images of Citizen Stack, called New Leader, were posted to Facebook in September 2013.[1]

Citizen Stack was released in April 2014.

On April 13th, 2014 Keith's Fantasy Club announced that they sold out of Citizen Stack and would be making a second run. They also announced they were interested in recolors of the figure.

Reception

Fictional biography

You might think you know him as a New Leader, or as an intergalactic police officer looking to place you under arrest, but Citizen Stack is different. Our subject has never left his planet, and is one of the few robots who is strong enough to not need gang affiliation for protection.

A loner who makes his way in life by collecting the carcasses of fallen warriors and selling them for spare parts to the highest bidder. When business is slow, he's not above getting his hands dirty and speeding up the process; thus he has truncated the life of many a warring robot. Every now and then a new clan forms, and they think an easy way to make a name for themselves is to take on the loner Citizen Stack, but they soon realize that they've made a fatal error, and the only place their name gets mentioned is on the hourly updated obituary lists.

In the war torn reality of the E.A.V.I. Metal universe, they call him The Untouchable, but maybe at the core he's still Citizen Stack.

Comics

Citizen Stack appears in his pack-in comic story I Can Deal With This Now!. Known as The Untouchable, he teams up with Krank against the Sky Pirates to free Krank's brother Stax. After crashing into the Sky Pirate headquarters and defeating Haiku, Sencho Barbossa and Tsunami the pair free Badbat, Haymaker, Mugan Vox, Overslay and Stax from the pirate's prison. Kranks asks The Untouchable to return home with them, but he says he isn't ready to return to life yet. Asking The Untouchable his name, he responds that it is Citizen Stack.[2]

Toys

  • Keith's Fantasy Club Citizen Stack (2014)
An original mold designed by David Harland for Keith's Fantasy Club. Turns from robot to semi-truck car carrier. He stands about 12.6 inches tall in robot mode. Comes with a rifle, 2 missiles and launchers, comic/instructions and collector card.
There are two typos on the packaging for Citizen Stack. First, the biography misspells the word realize with an s instead of a z. Second, the tech spec numbers on the collector card and comic book don't match, with the collector card saying his speed is 7, and the comic book saying his speed is 2.
