The Armored Battalion is a set of third party Transformer toys made by FansProject. They are homages to the Generation 1 Deluxe Insecticons Barrage, Chopshop and Ransack.

The Armored Battalion toys were first announced at TFcon 2012, where painted prototypes were displayed.

In November 2012 TFsource displayed in-box pictures of the Armored Battalion.
