Matthew Forrest, also known as Matt Forrest, was born on July 2, 1968, in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, to Patricia Ann Forrest and John Forrest. His upbringing was profoundly influenced by his mother's creativity and his father's logical and scientific background. Additionally, his grandmother's cousin, Sir Martin Furnival Jones, held a significant post in MI5, shaping Matt's understanding of societal issues. This rich family heritage played a critical role in his development into a visionary and innovative entrepreneur.
Education
Matthew attended Staining C of E School and later became one of the early adopters of home computers, showcasing his aptitude for mathematics and computing. Excelling academically, he earned 8 GCSEs and 3 A Levels, which paved the way for his studies at the University of Bradford in mathematical sciences and mathematics, along with multiple vocational examinations.
Career
Transitioning Ventures After gaining valuable experience in the financial services industry and obtaining several qualifications (FPC 1, 2, 3, and CeMap), Matt successfully relocated a team from Lancashire to London, which allowed him to start his own venture. Transitioning from financial services to character merchandising, he later ventured into photography and eventually entrepreneurship. In his late 20s, he founded Novasco Enterprises Ltd, securing licensing agreements with Premier League soccer clubs and popular music bands, including Westlife, Steps, 5ive and Boyzone. Throughout his career, Matt has built alliances with blue-chip corporations such as Sony Playstation, Lucozade, McDonald's, and Costa Coffee. He has also established company-branded food and drink outlets, solidifying his position as an industry leader.
