Snapchat is one of the social media platforms out there that many people use. It has existed for a very long time in relative to other apps that have come and gone such as the original flappy bird. Everyone loves to use Snapchat, and one of the reasons why this is because Snapchat allows you to add people labelled as friends onto your account so that you can watch a story on them posted on their account or their friends. Although this is great and all, Snapchat has become just a way to see other people’s stories if you are not friends with them. It is very rare to get an opportunity to make friends with your Snapchat adds, especially as more and more people are practicing safety and are just using Snapchat to fill up their snap map and to have something to do when it comes to viewing other people’s snaps. In addition to this, people who do ‘communicate’ with the rare unknown on Snapchat use their communication more in regards to keeping streaks which there is nothing wrong with. It is uncertain from a general point of view whether you should snapchat your crush or not as it depends on your existing relationship with him or her, as Snapchat provides a low-pressure way to connect and flirt, insights into your crush’s interest level, showcase your personality, build rapport. Terrible, I know! For this reason, relying too heavily on Snapchat to converse, connect and maybe even flirt is not that much of a good idea, and might be something one might want to refrain from. Do not prevent yourself from developing deeper in person connections with your crush, just because you can’t get enough of them and start conversing more online than anything just so that you spend way more time with them. Instead of doing just that, refrain from snap chatting your crush to the point of over reliance and focus more on what you do have.
