U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary boat Lady B was built in Tacoma, WA in 1967 and spent most of her life with the Coast Guard in North and South Carolina. She was acquired in 2001 and after extensive repairs, became an Auxiliary facility in 2002. She is shown here on patrol in the Lower East River near the Brooklyn Bridge under the command of Capt. Stewart Sutherland. The Lady B is the former 82-foot U.S. Coast Guard cutter USCGC Point Brown (WPB-82362), commissioned in 1967 and decommissioned in 1991. Ref: U.S. Coast Guard vessel history
