Steamhammer was a Decepticon who appeared in the Transformers comic by Marvel Comics UK. He appeared in Transformers Annual 1991 in a story called "The Magnificent Six!" Steamhammer and his allies were attacking neutral Cybertronians when they were countered by a team of Autobots lead by Prowl. His teammates killed, his rage overcame his better judgement to flee, and he was killed by the Autobots.[1]
Transformers: Energon
Steamhammer combines with his four teammates to form Constructicon Maximus.
Fictional biography
Steamhammer is a dark and stoic Decepticon warrior. His ability to jam enemy transmissions has earned him a high-ranking position in Galvatron's army. His primary function is communication and espionage but when called to action, Steamhammer can battle with the best of them. His powerful fists are deadly weapons. Landmine is one of the few Autobots that will dare face him in fist-to-fist combat. In vehicle mode, he has been known to literally flatten his enemies. Although he is a seasoned warrior, Steamhammer prefers breaking codes to breaking heads and tries to avoid getting involved in battles.
Animated series
Steamhammer first appeared in episode #41 of Transformers: Energon, called "Galvatron!" After being awoken from their slumber Constructicon Maximus and Bruticus Maximus were ordered after the fleeing Superion Maximus. Later they pledged themselves to Galvatron.[2]
Note: In the Transformers: Energon series all Transformers that became Constructicon Maximus were portrayed as parts of a single being, not as individuals.

Fictional biography
Few enemies are as bitter as Steamhammer and Razorclaw. Steamhammer took his vehicle form because of a deep love of life and order. He believes that war is an unnatural disruption of the organized advance of culture, and does everything he can to limit combat and defend vulnerable targets. He looks at warfare as a necessary evil, but one that only does damage to the civilizations that wage it. Despite his own heroism, he never sees anything but the terrible cost of war at the conclusion of any battle.

Fictional biography
Steamhammer knows there's another Decepticon team out there with the same name as his. He doesn't care. The strength granted him through the Power Core process is more than enough to destroy anyone who dares to challenge him.

Steamhammer was given life in the stolen shell of Rapid Run, thus becoming the team's muscle due to his great strength and "dull personality." He and his teammates could form the Combiner Dominus Trannis, but were eventually destroyed by Defensor.
