FANS Foundation
ABOUT
The FANS Foundation, created as of 2004, is a well-known non-profit across the US and Canada. Their Mission is to provide Full Access for Newcomers to Sports (“FANS”) by providing access to Experiences, Equipment and Education. Their goal is to break down the barriers for Newcomers to Sports by mobilizing individuals to provide access for Newcomers to Sports. FANS executuve members believe that Sports are a way to build community and integrate Newcomers into North American Life.
The non for Profit Foundation provides Sports Education, Equipment and Experiences for Immigrant Newcomers. The FANS team is based in Calgary but work across Canada and the United States! FANS has recently scaled up in scale and magnitude as they move to larger partnerships in offering newcomer children another chance at sports.
