Animated series

Spoons in Challenge of the GoBots

In Challenge of the GoBots episode 16 "Doppelganger" Cy-Kill, Cop-Tur, Crasher and Snoop attack Leader-1, Turbo, Scooter and Small Foot on Earth. Crasher wounds Small Foot. After attaining recordings of the Guardians the Renegades retreated. Using the recordings Cy-Kill has Dr. Go program robot duplicates of the Guardians. Demonstrating Space Bender weapon to Unecom, Leader-1 learns that the Renegades are attacking Washington. The Renegades ambush Leader-1 and replace him with his duplicate. Leading the Command Center back to GoBotron and getting rid of Scooter and Small Foot the Renegades release duplicates of Path Finder, Rest-Q, Van Guard and Turbo. Small Foot and Scooter are able to capture the Turbo duplicate and learn where their friends are being held. Cy-Kill replaces Good Knight. Using the duplicate Turbo the Guardians infiltrate the Renegade base, free the captured Guardians and escape from the Renegade guards Spoons and Fitor. Although blocked by the Renegades, Scooter uses a hologram of Zod to make the Renegades flee. Making it back to GoBotron the Guardians are attacked by the Guardian duplicates. The real Guardians are able to defeat their duplicates with the aid of the real Zeemon, Hans-Cuff and Rest-Q. Cy-Kill arrives in Thrustor with more duplicates, but Small Foot is able to stop with robots using the Space Bender, which fuses their robot brains. [3]

Deadlift, the Sweeps, Fracture and her armada in Echoes and Fragments Part 2
Echoverse

Spoons was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots swapping places with characters during the events of that film. Crain Brain, Screw Head and Spoons took the place of the Insecticons in the story. The three participated on the attack on Autobot city, attempting to breech the city's defenses until Hot Rod injured Crain Brain and Spoons. When Unicron reached an agreement with Megatron, Spoons was rebuilt into Deadlift, the tracker, taking the place of Scourge in the story. When Galvatron protested Galvatron consuming Cybertron's moons, Deadlift reminded his commander that they themselves belonged to Unicron. Deadlift was present when Command Center 09 was (mostly) destroyed and when Galvatron took the Matrix from Major Mo.[4]

Rhetoricverse

Spoons appeared in the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode 9 story "Cy-Kill For President".[5]

In the episode 58 story "Opportunity Knocks Part 2" Cy-Kill chronicled his return to "Level 1", his home universal stream, just as the Guardians were staging an attack on Rogue Star. Cy-Kill and his Renegade recruits from Axiom Nexus joined Fitor, Spoons and Stretch in repelling an attack by Courageous, Leader-1, the Guardian Command Centers and the new Guardian Academy graduates Beamer, Guide Star and Sky Fly. During the battle Monsterous was able to best Courageous and tore though the Command Centers, but a ploy from Leader-1 tricked Cy-Kill into unleashing a massive blast which struck Monsterous, shattering the combiner into his components.
