Sparky is a fictional character from the GoBots series introduced in 1985. She is a female Guardian GoBot who turns into a car.

Abilities

Like most GoBots, Sparky has numerous abilities because of her robotic body. She can survive in space and is super-humanly strong and tough. She can fly in robot mode and project energy blasts from her hands. Her body heals quickly when supplied with energy. She can turn into a car.

Sparky in Challenge of the Gobots

Sparky first appeared in the Challenge of the GoBots episode 9, "The Fall of GoBotron." After Cy-Kill takes over GoBotron Geeper-Creeper and Slicks are assigned to guard the modifier. They are lured away by Scooter and lead into a Guardian ambush by Turbo, Small Foot and Sparky.

Cataclysmverse

In the story Cultural Appropriation by Fun Publications it was revealed that Ace, Bolt, Crain Brain, Dart, Gunnyr, Night Ranger, Slicks, Sparky and Wrong Way were sent to explore Level 51 when the Cataclysm threatened to destroy the GoBots home universe.

Echoverse

Sparky was featured in the 2016 Ask Vector Prime story Echoes and Fragments, set during the events of The Transformers: The Movie. The manipulations of the evil Gong and Sideways resulted in various GoBots swapping places with characters during the events of that film. Sparky took the place of Windcharger in the plot. She was killed at the battle for Guardian City.[3]

Rhetoricverse

Sparky appeared in the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode 14 story "The Alienapolis Five Million" working with Street Heat and Turbo.[4]

Sparky appeared in the Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric episode 24 story "Ladies Night" where she was part of a team of female Guardiana sent to compete on the planet Amazonia IV.[5]

When the Renegades attacked Earth with Go-Vines, Small Foot and Sparky sneaked aboard one of the Renegades' Thrusters and stole a seed so that Professor Von Joy could engineer a virus to counter the vines.

When Renegade leader Cy-Kill allowed himself to be captured and placed in a Guardian prison, Sparky was one of his guards.
