Ronin is a third-party Transformer homage to Generation 1 Banzaitron.
Development
Headrobots first announced Robin on their Twitter and Facebook accounts in Feburary 2012.[1]
Black King, Darksol, Drone, Garrison, Iguana, Ronin, Savant and Tauros were among the toys made by Headrobots spotlighted at the TFcon 2012 Third Party Panel.[2]
Prototype images of Ronin were posted to the Headrobots Facebook account in March 2013.[3]
The Headrobots Iguana and Ronin were displayed at the Captured Prey Third Party at BotCon in June 2013.[4]
Reception
The Good Morning, Cybertron! podcast for July 1st, 2013 discussed pictures of Iguana and Ronin at BotCon 2013.[5]
