Crossrock is a heroic member of the Rock People who turns into a hematite rock. He is a solitary knight and is a descendant of a Royal Rock bloodline. He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 1.08 tons. Because of his mechanoid nature, Crossrock does not need to breath oxygen. Like most Rock People he is probably immune to the effect of acid and magnetic fields which adversely affect metal mechanoids. His weapon of choice is his Saint Sword. He occasionally pilots a Rock Commander craft.
Reception
Animated series
After Crossrock warned Rom Stol's group of a vision of an impending attack, Cessna Robo and others scouted for Gandora activity around a nearby frozen lake in Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos episode 26, "Crossrock's Great Promise".[1]
In episode 36, "Cannon Fury - Save Amberman", Crossrock was being chased by the Gandora when the group was captured by Amberman, who despised war. Eventually Amberman sided with Rom's group, with Crossrock welcoming him to their side.[2]
Crossrock and Maskrock appeared in episode 43, "Mighty Fortress, Heavenly Sword - Jet Don't Die!". They piloted a Rock Commander craft in an attack on the Varigale-X and were shot from the sky by Bloodyrock.[3]
Note: When Crossrock speaks in the series, his eyes light up. In some English subtitles of the series he is called Geweisi.
