Dear Cy-Kill, Us Quadwalers once saw toy versions of yourself in black and your Guardian nemesis in blue, instead of your usual colors. Did this ever happen to yourself and if so, would you please tell us the tale?

Cy-Kill: You... "Quadwalers" certainly seem to have unusually specific insights into the conflict betwixt Renegade and Guardian. I must find a way to take advantage of that...

In any event, yes, I know that of which you speak. A lead on Creepy had panned out and I was in pursuit. His ship, the Dromon, was no match for our Thruster. The little jackanapes knew he couldn't outrun us, so instead he headed straight for a Guardian supply depot, hoping that the Guardians would engage with us and allow him to slip through. Surely enough, a Command Center intercepted us just as we disabled the Dromon. I left Cop-Tur to man the Thruster while Crasher, BuggyMan and I boarded the vessel. The Command Center disgorged Leader-1, Tail Pipe, and Blaster.

Suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light, and all seven of us found ourselves on a strange, pyramid-shaped alien vessel on the other side of the Galaxy. I immediately blamed Leader-1 for Guardian treachery, firing off a few shots and forcing him behind cover. They fired back a few times, but Leader-1 kept blathering the whole time about how this wasn't Guardian doing and we'd all need to work together or some such nonsense. I decided I had best go along with his plan... for the moment.

Soon, the alien race that had abducted us made themselves known. They called themselves The Overseers, and they informed us that we were now their property. To make things worse, they affixed cuffs to each of our wrists capable of inflicting great pain or even immobilizing us completely. They also denied us the ability to transform, fly, or fire our blasters. The instant the cuffs were affixed, our color schemes altered. As you noted, Leader-1 became largely blue. My striking red and white became black, with green highlights. Blaster's green and yellow and BuggyMan's blue shifted to pure orange. Crasher's elegant black became a dull white, with blue highlights. Tail Pipe's black with orange details became a solid red. And Creepy's purple and black became a green and purple.

We were split up. I was paired with Creepy and Blaster and sent to their engine room to shovel space coal into their reactor. Leader-1 and BuggyMan were sent to recycling, where they were sorting lugnuts, screws, and washers from their conquered enemies. And Crasher and Tail Pipe were sent to manufacturing, where they were set to work repairing the Overseers' ultimate weapon, the A.N.Ubi.S. I complained bitterly that this was not work fit for a Renegade, and was remanded to the outside of the ship where energon chains affixed my splayed limbs into some sort of ghastly figurehead.

Fortunately, for me, Leader-1, perhaps at BuggyMan's urging, managed to use the scrap he was sorting to make a key and remove his and Buggyman's restraints. The two of them located Creepy and Blaster, freeing them as well. By the time they arrived at Crasher and Tail Pipe, however, things took a turn for the ugly. They had finished fixing the mighty A.N.Ubi.S., thanks in no small part to the cowardly Tail Pipe's computer expertise, just as the other four GoBots arrived to rescue them, and the mighty mechanical titan rampaged through their position. Leader-1 realized that there was only one GoBot with enough firepower to bring down the mech, and dispatched the reluctant Tail Pipe to the outside of the ship to free me. It was all I could do not to blast the Guardian scum the instant he released my bonds, but the Overseers were far more dangerous than the Guardians... at the moment.

He and I returned and hit the A.N.Ubi.S. from behind, shattering it to bits. I grabbed a cowering overseer and shoved my blaster right into his face, demanding they return us immediately or face the consequences. The sniveling fools did so, and as their matter-superposition ray washed over us I fired off a potent burst directly into their engines, no doubt disabling their ship for years. Perhaps when I finish destroying the Guardians and bending both GoBotron and Earth to my heel, I shall send out search parties and give the Overseers a proper thank you for their humiliation.
