Alexandra Wolf is an American woman who was diagnosed with AIDS in 1985.[1][2][3] Coverage of her diagnosis described her as an early instance of a heterosexual woman being infected.

Wolf described how she learned her diagnosis in an article in Psychological Perspectives.[4] She compared her anxiety to how Captain Kirk felt when he was trapped in timewarp in the Star Trek episode The Tholian Web.

Wolf, who was in her thirties, described acquiring AIDS during a brief heterosexual liaison with a bisexual man.[1][2][4]
