Warden is a fictional character and third party Transformer created by Perfect Effect. He is a homage to the Transformer Autobot Fortress Maximus. Specifically, he is an homage to Alex Milne's concept artwork for the "More Than Meets The Eye" comic, who is large but not city-sized, more in scale with Ultra Magnus.

Perfect Effect

Warden is a third part Transformer homage to Fortress Maximus made by Perfect Effect. In addition to being a Head Master himself, his body is able to transform into a replacement head for the original Fortress Maximus toy, replacing Cerebros.

Other third party Transformer homages to Fortress Maximus include Headrobots Centurion.

Development

In April 2013 Perfect Effect released a teaser image of PE-DX03.[1]

A prototype for PE-DX03 was displayed by Robot Kingdom at BotCon 2013.[2]

Prototype images of PE-DX03 were previewed at TFcon 2013's Third Party Panel.[3]

In September 2013 new prototype images were released with the announcement of the name Warden.[4]
