Janine Yorio
Janine Yorio is an American entrepreneur and business executive. She is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Everyrealm, a metaverse-focused innovation firm and investment fund.
Life and career
Yorio received her Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and pursued graduate studies in economics at St. Peter's College within the University of Oxford.
She serves as the CEO of Everyrealm, leading the company's initiatives in metaverse technology and innovation.
Prior to her role at Everyrealm, Yorio held key positions at Republic, where she served as the Head of Republic Realm & Managing Director, Republic Crypto.
She was also the CEO and Co-Founder of Compound, a fintech real estate app, from October 2016 to June 2020. Notably, Compound was acquired by Republic in June 2020.
Yorio is the Founder and CEO of Newseed Advisors, a financial services and advisory firm that focuses exclusively on the sustainable agriculture industry. The firm reflects her commitment to industries aligned with integrity and sustainability.
Before her ventures in entrepreneurship, Yorio served as the Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Development at The Standard Hotels from January 2007 to December 2009.
She initiated her finance career as a Portfolio Manager, Private Equity Investment (Real Estate/Hospitality) at NorthStar Realty Finance Corp. from January 1999 to December 2007.
Yorio has been recognized for her contributions to the business world and has been featured and quoted in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, New York Times, Crain’s New York, and The Atlantic. Yorio is known for her commitment to diversity and sustainability in the business world.
