Hardbone is a fictional character made by Toyworld as a third party Transformer. He is an homage to the 1987 Transformers Hardhead and Duros.

Toyworld

Hardbone is a third party Transformer who turns into a tank. He is an homage to the 1987 Transformers characters Hardhead and Duros.

Other third party Transformer homage to Hardhead and Duros include Headrobots Hothead.

Development

In July of 2012 Toyworld displayed concept art of a toy that was an homage to Generation 1 Hardhead and Duros.

In September of 2012 Toyworld displayed a pictures of the prototype of their Hardhead homage on their Facebook page.

In January of 2013 Toyworld displayed color pictures of their first Headmaster and announced it would be called Hardbone.
