Akhtar Mohammed is a citizen of Afghanistan who was held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba.[1] Mohammed's Guantanamo Internment Serial Number was 845.[1] American intelligence analysts estimated that Mohammed was born in 1970, in Barogai, Afghanistan.
Akhtar Mohammed was captured in Afghanistan in September 2002 and transferred to Afghanistan on August 25, 2006.[2]
