Charlie Canning Burt (born October 6, 1996), is a British-American film producer and content executive.

Early life
Burt was born in Rutland, Vermont on October 6, 1996[3] to an Irish-American mother and a British immigrant father. Burt grew up splitting time between the United States and England. He was identified as dyslexic and colourblind during his academic struggles in grade school. Burt graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 2015 [4].
He would then go on to attend Montana State University from 2015-2019, graduating with honors in film & photography.
Producing career
While in college Burt co-founded Egerton Crescent Productions with Omar Parker his producing partner. Egerton Crescent Productions was named after Burt’s childhood street, Egerton Crescent. The duo began producing short films like El Eden, Damiana, Salta, Ultraviolet, and Mud[5] which would garner international attention on the festival circiut. Eventually they moved onto feature films, creating high festival art films like Luz, and B-movie films like Arena Wars, Bermuda Island, and Devil Knight[6].
In early 2020, Burt announced Captain's Log. A YouTube series centered around the fandom of Star Trek. The brand garnered over 200,000 followers and gave Burt a Silver Play Button.
Parker has also frequently produced content for the Preston channel which passed 25 million subscribers in 2023, and the true crime channel Dr. Insanity which crossed 1 million subscribers in 2024.

Later, Burt started the Tumbleweed Tiktok[7] brand in 2023, based off Parker's long time gamertag.
Personal life
Burt is the grandson of Texas business magnate Don F. Gaston [8] and nephew to Jake Burton Carpenter. (Link 7) He married his highschool sweetheart, Amy Burt on March 7, 2020 in Annaburg, St. John, VI.
He is an avid "petrol head" and world traveler.
