Voltron

Voltron is a name applied to several mecha in the franchise of the same name. The most popular and well known version is composed of five robotic lions that merge together to form a large, humanoid robot.

Gladiator Voltron
Gladiator Voltron would have been a third Voltron variant composed of three humanoid robots that formed a larger robot, adapted from the Lightspeed Electroid Albegas anime. However, given the Lion Voltron's popularity, this project was abandoned.
